Could anybody recommend me an external HDD or HDD case with networking? I found disk in my laptop to be too small for my collection of photos (lots of RAW files) and music and all the other stuff. I'd like to keep my work stuff on the laptop but put all other content on an external drive.
But I hate wires and I work in very different places at my home: at a desk in the study, on a sofa in my living room and sometimes in my bedroom - and I really wouldn't like to carry the external drive with me all the time, so I want to have a central-home-drive accessible from virtually anywhere. It can be either wireless or ethernet - I can plug it into my access point.
I tried Argosy Network Hard Drive but it never worked well. It was hanging up all the time and finally it just broke down. I'm looking for something new. Preferably only the closure without internal disk, as I have one spare 250 GB IDE HDD. It should allow me to mount the drive in my Mac and provide safety for my data. Thanks.
