I can't work out whether this is launched yet but the aim is to offer one Zune player - a 30GB model with a 7.6cm colour screen and FM radio that comes in black, white or brown.
The angle Microsoft are pitching this with is that it will have wireless capability built in so that you can share / beam music to your friends Zune, which then disappears after a three plays. They will concentrate more on this rather than having an iTunes store equivalent.
Personally I think this has the potential of a great idea IF the music does not disappear but rather gives the perso who has received the content from a friend to be able to purchase it after a trial period - at a discounted rate. Link in skype functionality and they MIGHT just be able to make an impact?
What do you think?
