Also, the problem I see with these batteries is unless you have a lot of extra USB ports, you can only charge, in my case, only one at a time...pretty time consuming if you have a number of these that need recharging, correct? Tom

If I knew, I would have put it in here, LOL unless you are asking me what MAH means? If so, it means the Millamp capacity of the batteries. If you look on any rechargable batteries, they have this rating on there. IE-The range is usually between 1,000 to as high as about 2,600 MAH.

I would buy these by the case, lol. Almost all kids toys, personal CD players, electric gadgets require AA batteries. If they did this with ALL batteries, it would DEFINATELY be a bonus to the environment, and you would have less problems of dealing with dead batteries, wouldn't matter, just pop it into the USB port, will tell you how much is there. Fricking AWESOME idea, don't know why they're not in stores YET. Hope to everything they're out by X-Mas.

This is a great idea. I have been charging my Palm via a USB port for quite some time and it has worked out just great. This product extends the concept to general purpose batteries and gadgets, e.g., my digital camera which uses AA batteries. This product definitely goes on my 'wish list'.

I bumped into the people who created these last night and actually saw it for the first time. It actually is the same size as the image here on Crowdstorm. Didn't get a chance to test it yet though.

These would be great for my phone or camera. It's such a drag when half of your luggage space is taken up by chargers!

I think they're available at PC World and Curry's in the UK. You can probably order them online too, of course.
