No camera is ever going to take Pulitzer Prize winning photos 100% of the time, but this one is amazingly close. I absolutely love this camera!!!! I researched my purchase by reading the reviews and looking at customer images for some 20-odd cameras from different manufacturers. Majority of the time my research led me right back to the Panasonic Lumix line of cameras. I asked a few friends who are photo enthusiasts and they all seemed to point in the same direction. I finally decided to purchase this one after narrowing down my choices (a major feat for me) to three different cameras and realizing this was the only one of those 3 that had an actual battery pack. After using my other camera for the last three years and watching it eat 4 AA batteries at a time I couldn't help but to refuse to purchase another battery muncher. I was willing to spend the extra for an backup battery pack so I didn't have to worry about fumbling around with all the AA's. This camera lasted through about 300 or so photos taken at max resolution and about 10 minutes of video shooting. I'm not sure if those numbers are right, but I definately used the mess out of it playing around and it lasted through about 4 hours of play. Surprisingly this camera (even though it's about 50% larger than my other) is fairly light and fits nicely in your hands.

My husband is now telling me that I am rambling on about a camera that I've only had for a little over 24 hours so I will stop here and let the photos show the quality of this camera. I love this camera and definately would recommend it to any one who asks!
