@Tribal & @Dennis_Young - i got the Canon XSi. CNET.com reviews had it comparable to the Nikon D80 (which was too much for me)

@deadzebra Ok cool. That was my first pick but a am leaning towards the Nikon D80 at the moment. Still looking though.
