The Bosch S1122HF wood and metal sabre saw blade has a standard 0.9mm thickness and length of 225mm. These 2 factors give it excellent flexibility allowing flush cutting of nails, pipes etc. A strip of HSS steel welded to a high carbon steel backing makes this a good choice where the blade may encounter nails within the wood. The teeth have a 2.5mm pitch (10 tpi) to make short work of cutting nails metal fastenings. It has a cutting capacity of up to 175mm.
