Roxa are quietly making a name for themselves with the excellent R3 Ultralight range and this latest version of the R3 130 T.I. is sure to continue this. Its a powerful freeride boot that really does flex like a 130 alpine model. The Cabrio design uses a 3-piece construction of shell, cuff and tongue that comfortably and securely holds the foot whilst producing a smooth and progressive flex. This open throat design ensures easy entry and exit and means high shell walls can be used to provide excellent power transmission, without making the boot over stiff. Grilamid on the shell and cuff mean the weight is kept down without affecting performance. The shell utilises Biofit technology, these are preformed shapes in common problem areas at the 1st and 5th metatarsal heads, ankle and navicular, to ease pressure and create a natural feel. To improve on this the shell can be heat moulded for a better fit, and the liner is the brilliant Intuition tongue version that is formed during fitting to take the best shape of the skiers feet.
